Street Spirit (Fade Out)

Radiohead

Versão 1 -======- Intro :|: :| play 4 times Rows of houses all bearing down on me I can feel their blue hands touching me All these things in all positions All these things will one day take control And fade out again. And fade out... This ma - chine will will not communicate These thoughts and the strain I am under Be a world child form a circle before we all go under And fade out again And fade out again | | | | | | Cracked eggs dead birds scream as they fight for life I can feel death can see it's beady eyes All these things into fruition All these things we'll one day swallow whole And fade out again And fade out again |: | | :| 2x Imerse your soul in love... Imerse your soul in love... ===================================================== Versão 2 -======- NOTE: This is only the main guitar part played by Thom Yorke. Jonny Greenwood's part is played up an octave (courtesy of a capo), and should be available from most other "Street Spirit" tabs. It is basically a variant, less-intricate picking of the same chord shapes of the main guitar part. I have no idea what Ed O'Brien does during this song. Street Spirit is based almost entirely upon three base chords -- and C. They are spiced up with ornamentations, and are played as follows: riff E-|---------0---------------0---------------0-----------------------| B-|-----------------3---------------1---------------0---------------| G-|-----2-------2-------2-------2-------2-------2-------2-------2---| D-|---------------------------------------------------------2-------| A-|-0---------------------------------------------------------------| E-|-----------------------------------------------------------------| riff E-|---------0---------------0---------------0-----------------------| B-|-----------------3---------------1---------------0---------------| G-|-----0-------0-------0-------0-------0-------0-------0-------0---| D-|---------------------------------------------------------2-------| A-|-----------------------------------------------------------------| E-|-0---------------------------------------------------------------| riff E-|---------0---------------0---------------0-----------------------| B-|-----------------3---------------1---------------0---------------| G-|-----0-------0-------0-------0-------0-------0-------0-------0---| D-|---------------------------------------------------------2-------| A-|-3---------------------------------------------------------------| E-|-----------------------------------------------------------------| If you have a decent ear and an intelligent mind, you should be able to figure out when they are played and for what duration :) The only change occurs in the final segment, beginning with the lyrics: "Immerse your soul in love." In this part, the , and the E minor becomes an E major. They are played as follows: riff E-|---------0---------------0---------------0-----------------------| B-|-----------------3---------------1---------------0---------------| G-|-----0-------0-------0-------0-------0-------0-------0-------0---| D-|---------------------------------------------------------2-------| A-|-----------------------------------------------------------------| E-|-3---------------------------------------------------------------| E riff E-|---------0---------------0---------------0-----------------------| B-|-----------------3---------------1---------------0---------------| G-|-----1-------1-------1-------1-------1-------1-------1-------1---| D-|---------------------------------------------------------2-------| A-|-----------------------------------------------------------------| E-|-0---------------------------------------------------------------| And that's it! Simple, yet mesmerising song. The only part that will be a stumble is getting the E riff right, which requires a different fingering from the rest. I play it with my index finger planted on the G-string, using my pinky and middle finger to do the descending notes on the B-string. Finally, the middle finger moves at the end to the D-string to get that E on the second fret. Sounds complicated, but with practice, you'll get it. Enjoy! --------------------------------------------------------------- FIG. 1 E-|---------0---------------0---------------0-----------------------| B-|-----------------3---------------1---------------0---------------| G-|-----2-------2-------2-------2-------2-------2-------2-------2---| D-|---------------------------------------------------------2-------| A-|-0---------------------------------------------------------------| E-|-----------------------------------------------------------------| FIG. 2 E-|---------0---------------0---------------0-----------------------| B-|-----------------3---------------1---------------0---------------| G-|-----0-------0-------0-------0-------0-------0-------0-------0---| D-|---------------------------------------------------------2-------| A-|-----------------------------------------------------------------| E-|-0---------------------------------------------------------------| FIG. 3 E-|---------0---------------0---------------0-----------------------| B-|-----------------3---------------1---------------0---------------| G-|-----0-------0-------0-------0-------0-------0-------0-------0---| D-|---------------------------------------------------------2-------| A-|-3---------------------------------------------------------------| E-|-----------------------------------------------------------------| ______________________________________________________ Contribuição: Denise Silva([email protected])
