This tab will write out each individual section in the order that they first come up within the tab, then have a structure list at the bottom, so you know where each bit goes once you've learned it. This song has just been released as a single on iTunes (not in Europe yet, but in the U.S - here's hoping), so I thought I'd jump on the case before anyone else did. It's badass. Happy playing. \o/ Intro: eb|---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Bb|-0\-/8\-/3-3\-/10\-/5\-0~-------------0\-/8\-/3-3\-/10\-/5/12\0------------| Gb|-0\-/8\-/3-3\-/10\-/5\-0~-5\0-5-0-5~--0\-/8\-/3-3\-/10\-/5/12\0------------| Db|-0\-/8\-/3-3\-/10\-/5\-0~-5\0-5-0-5~--0\-/8\-/3-3\-/10\-/5/12\0------------| Ab|---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Eb|---------------------------------------------------------------------------| This sequence should be played with an actual slide if you have one. Back off slightly on the distortion you intend to use for the majority of the song. Riff: eb|-------------------------------11-10-------------------------------------------| Bb|-------------------------11-13-------13-11-11-13-11-13-11-11-------11-10-------| Gb|-12-12-10-12-12-10-12-12-------------------------------------10-12-------12-10-| Db|-------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Ab|-------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Eb|-------------------------------------------------------------------------------| (End 1) eb|-------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Bb|----------------------------13b15r13-11----------------------------------------| Gb|-10-12-10-10-12-10-10-12-10-------------12-12-10-12-12-10-12-12-10-------------| Db|-------------------------------------------------------------------12-10-8-----| Ab|---------------------------------------------------------------------------10--| Eb|-------------------------------------------------------------------------------| (End 2) eb|-------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Bb|----------------------------13b15r13-11----------------------------------------| Gb|-10-12-10-10-12-10-10-12-10-------------12-12~-12-10-------------12/0----------| Db|-----------------------------------------------------12-10-8-----12/0----------| Ab|-------------------------------------------------------------10----------------| Eb|-------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Harmony: eb|-------------------------10-11-15-13-11-10-10-8-10-8-10-10-------10-8-7--------| Bb|-12-12-10-12-12-10-12-12-----------------------------------10-12--------10-----| Gb|-------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Db|-------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Ab|-------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Eb|-------------------------------------------------------------------------------| (End 2) eb|---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Bb|-8-10-8-8-10-8--8--10-10-13b15r13-11---------------------------------------| Gb|-------------------------------------12-12~-12-10------------12/0----------| Db|-------------------------------------------------12-10-8-----12/0----------| Ab|---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Eb|---------------------------------------------------------------------------| I'm not totally sold on the last set of harmony notes, as they don't too much sense in my head even though they sound bang on. So let me know if they're off, and I'll whack in a change and credit you for it. Verse: eb|------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Bb|------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Gb|---8----3----5----------------------------------------------------------------| Db|---8~-3-3~---5~---------------------------------------------------------------| Ab|-5-6~-1-1~-3-3~-5-------------------------------------------------------------| Eb|-3---------1----3-------------------------------------------------------------| The power chords without a vibrato mark should be struck powerfully once, and then palm muted until the next chord change - tabbing every palm-muted note is untidy and unclear, and working out a simple rhythm for yourselves is good practice. The chords with a vibrato mark are the chords in between the palm-muted chugged chords, and should get most of the emphasis. Bridge: eb|--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Bb|--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Gb|--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Db|-5/7-8-----8---8-3-------------------5/7-8-----8-8-3----------------------------------| Ab|-3/5-6-6-6-6-6-6-1p0-5-----5---5-----3/5-6-6-6-6-6-1p0----------1-------3-1-0---1p0---| Eb|---------------------3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3--------------------3-3-1-3---3-1-3-------3-----3-| PM---------| PM------------| PM------| eb|--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Bb|--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Gb|-------------------------------------------------------10~----------------------------| Db|-8-----8-----8---8/7-5-----5---5-----5-8-7-----7-----7-10~-7-7-----7-----7-5----------| Ab|-6-6-6-6-6-6-6-6-6/5-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3/6-5-5-5-5-5-5-5-8~--5-5-5-5-5-5-5-5-3-8-7/-----| Eb|-----------------------------------------------------------------------------6-5/-----| PM-----------| PM----------| PM--------| PM---------| The slid power chords and pull-offs in between the palm-muted sections are more noticable live, so if you're struggling or they sound out then refer to some of the many live performances knocking around on the internet and see how Slash does them.
